Looking for Ping I3 club heads

Hey all,

My Ping i3 club heads, well some of them, are wearing out pretty bad. My PW, 8-iron, 9-iron the metal on them are wearing into the grooves, loosing spin, etc.

However, I can't find any on the web.. anybody have any links to buy some? I'm just looking for the heads, I have great shafts.

I think you're probably going to have to settle for buying a set and then re-shafting them.  Might be too tough to find just heads. Always a good place to look

Thanks.. maybe I'll get a new set. I've seen some heads on EBay though. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah I'm sure you can occasionally find some heads by themselves, just saying I think it's going to be rare, the irons are 13 years old.  Who knows, maybe you get the set, hit them and like the shafts that are already in there.  Also can't hurt to have some back up shafts if you do re-shaft the clubs.

Yeah. You should look for some that are slightly newer. Both the i5 and i10 models were pretty similar to the i3s.

Haha, my dad actually got them for free when he was working or something like that... they're old, but work great. I'll look into the i5 and i10. I was actually considering the new Nike irons, the VR Blades is my main choice.

I would caution you against the blades and say look at the Nike combo set.

Yeah agree, not the kind of club for a 14 handicap and obviously not similar to the i3's.  Would also recommend the VR_S forged irons, here's our review

If the cost doesn't bother you, you can go to your local Ping dealer and get new replacement i3 irons made directly from Ping. I splurged on a U wedge for my i3 O-size set this past summer. Ping made a brand new one for me with the same serial number of my set. Just bring a club with you or record the serial number and bring it with you. It may not be the best cost option out there, but if you really like the clubs, it may be an option for you.

You did that this past summer?  I thought they got rid of that program
