Just a heads up that the Milwaukee Golf Show is being held this coming weekend,March 14-16. It's held at the State fair grounds. I am going Saturday at some time, not sure when.

I have gone the last 3 years now. Pretty decent show if you want to see other courses and get info about them. You can also score some pretty good deals on green fees (2-4-1 @ the Bull for ex ample) but most of those require you sign-up on their email list. Most manufactures are there and have hitting bays set up if you want to try out the new stuff. I haven't seen too many "great" deals on gear there but some decent ones.

How was the golf show for those of you who went? How were the crowds, more than in years past?

      What'd You Shoot Today?

      So, last night was the first night of golf league. First tee I stuck in the ground this year. First time hitting a ball off the grass. Left my putter on my indoor putting mat in the office so I was able to borrow one of my pal's spare putters. I putted poorly, but not the putters fault. Took me forever to realize the greens were very very slow. We've had tons of rain and the greens were downright furry. I also went from my car to the clubhouse to the first tee. No warm up.  It took me a bit to get it going. But finished solid. I think I had four penalty strokes in the first 5 holes.
