Hey guys, so after not playing for the last few months I finally spent some time at the range. Last summer I bought a used set of taylormade burner 2.0 irons. Condition wise when I bought them they were a 7/10, and in less than a year Ive broken two club heads(one being yesterday). I'm debating if it worth getting it fixed, or just look for a different set. What do you guys think? Also, a few of the clubs are separated at the plastic part between the head and shaft.

Thanks

Send an email to Taylormade, maybe they will replace them free or very cheap. I don't think that should ever happen to any clubs.

When hurricane sandy hit my entire bag sat in saltwater for almost 48 hours. My irons rusted up a bit and the shafts pitted, but I cleaned them up and used them for an entire season and they're still perfectly intact.

I didn't even think of that. I'll send them an email and see what they say, its definitely worth a try.

Thanks

When you say you are breaking club heads what exactly is it that is broken?

The head and shaft are both intact but are separated from each other. So when they break the head goes flying in front of me. The club that broke yesterday didn't go flying, but is barely hanging onto the shaft.

If the glue is bad it shouldn't be a big deal at all to pull off the heads and replace the shafts and ferrules, but I would do it before a flying head ends up hurting somebody.

You should be able to have that done at any golf store that does any kind of regripping/reshafting. I thought you meant the head of the club itself was actually breaking into two pieces.
