I've been Playing Golf for: 1 year +

My current handicap index or average score is: I shoot in the low 100s

My typical ball flight is: Starts right and then curves slightly to the left

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Fat/top shots

Watch out for arching that lower back. That can hinder your hip turn in your golf swing.

Also, I would take that normal stance width, and then turn your heels in a bit. This would flare your feet more, but it helps with hip turn and getting your weight foward at impact.

I would say your grip is TOO strong, especially your right hand. A bit more on top, that V should point towards the right shoulder, not off the body right. Though if it works for you, then keep it. Grips are funny in that way.

I agree with the grip problem. I feel like I'm using too much of my upper body to swing. How is my hip movement, tempo, weight shift and impact position?
