Greetings to all, my name is Keith. I'm just about 24, and hoping to pick up golf again here over the next few weeks. Just to give a brief golf background:

I started at about 12, got my first set (which I still have) for my 13th birthday. Played semi-frequently from then until late-2006. I played for 2.5 years in high school, and got a new set of clubs at 16. Had them stolen from my trunk at the end of 2006, and didn't golf until I played a round at the end of last season (with the clubs I got more than 10 years ago). I think at my best, I would shoot in the 140s on 18 back then, I think I shot in the upper-60s on 9 in the round last year. I certainly was not and am not a good golfer, but I enjoy(ed) it.

Now, I'm about to have a birthday and a graduation, meaning money from relatives. I'm thinking of using that to finally replace my clubs and get back into golfing soon. You'll probably see a thread from me asking opinions shortly (been looking a bit at clubs for a few days now, but I'm obviously not too knowledgeable on it). If you notice that thread and can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Until then, my golf game's going to be left for Powerstar Golf on my Xbox One, haha. I might grab those decade-old junk clubs out one last time before I get new clubs, just to get a baseline for where my skill level is at before getting new clubs--that'll maybe give me some idea about how much I improve with new clubs, and with more time on the course.
