I believe some releases are made in January too.

Whats the difference between this yhears and next years clubs? Do they make a big differences when playing? I know im getting new clubs and the shop will offer me a higher model set of last years clubs for the same price as this years clubs. Just thinking now if i wait until the new ranges are out, then i could get my clubs cheaper as he would be looking rid of all the old stuff.

Is September usually the release date or is it later for next years equipment?

I wouldn't call "September" next year's clubs. By definition, they're this year's. It's not like cars.
