Yes

I would stay away from the bafflers.  I would try another store, most places will have the amp cells or even check out the bio cells

Thanks Mate,

I've pulled the trigger on the amp cells. The $269 open box special at global golf with the 14% discount was too good to pass up.

Grabbed a Bio Cell driver whilst I was at it too.

You are going to LOVE the driver!!  I like the irons and even though there are better ones out there, you are not getting a better deal at 269.  Congrats on the new sticks, please keep us updated on how you are doing with them

I Thought I'd resurrect this thread due to some an issue I'm having with the purchase, hoping for some more advice.

Had an issue with the driver part of my order, it's a bit of a story so bare with me.

Along with the irons I grabbed a Bio Cell driver. I saw that Global Golf was offering a free upgrade to the Q63 red tie shaft in the regular model, which I took advantage of.

Received the order (irons are great, thanks for the help) however I actually received the Bio Cell plus driver. Shaft is correct though.

I spoke to global golf and they are sending me the correct driver head to match with the shaft I've received. However it occurred to me that the actual loft display shaft butt thing is difference for the plus compared to the regular.

Is this going to be an issue?

Bio Cell plus driver settings 8.0° / 8.5° / 8.5° Draw / 9.5° / 9.5° Draw / 10.5° / 10.5° Draw / 11.0°

Bio Cell normal driver settings 9.0° / 9.5° / 9.5° Draw / 10.5° / 10.5° Draw / 11.5°  / 11.5° Draw / 12.0°*

No you will be fine, the lofts will be off but just consult these charts. I have the pro adapter with a red tie in my bio cell and it works great.

Wow thanks mate. So the sleeves are the same but are labeled differently depending on the model because the Bio Cell normal has one more degree of loft built into the head. I was planning on using it with 12 degrees of loft to start with so i'm glad I can still get it there.

    • Day 135 (27 Apr 24) - played Bradford Creek today while waiting for the missus fly in from her extended visit with the grands.  Good day to stay focused as it was a hurry up (groups pressing from behind) and wait (groups taking their time ahead)…a good day to stay mentally in the game - play the shot and not get frustrated in the waiting…
    • Day 122: 4/27/24 Supposed to be a Stack training day but I was beat after yard work today. Practiced chipping and putting at The Creek. The practice green is pretty slow but the session went well.
    • Went to the range today and was cursing myself when I got there as I realized I forgot my phone. I added an earlier wrist hinge to the short backswing I was using last time practicing and ball strikes were really good for the most part. I'm heading back to Boston Thursday to see friends and family and have a couple of rounds planned so I'm hoping to keep this feeling.  Yesterday morning I weighed in at 232. My goal had been 230 but maybe now it's 220. I'll have to think about that. I feel so much better without the extra 90 lbs. from 2 years ago. Still a softl slightly less protruding belly so it might be time to go hard on eating better. Work in progress.
