This is going to probably come across as a stupid question but that has never stopped me before so here goes.

Today I took the Kuro Kage Black 60 gram shaft with the FlexLoft adapter for the driver, (8.5 - 12.5) out of my Nike Covert and switched it with my Kuro Kage Silver 70 gram shaft with the FlexLoft adapter for the 3 wood, (13 - 17)...., and I was very surprised how well I hit the ball.

My question is this..., Does this switch actually allow my driver to be adjusted from 13 - 17 degrees? If so I could barely tell a difference in the height of my ball flight but the trajectory was much more of a boring/penatrating flight which my puny brain attributed to the difference in the stiffness and swing weight.

Has anyone else here ever attempted this and if so..., what were the results?

Thanks for any and all responses....., God Bless!!!! Ray

The sleeve just lets you change plus or minus 2 degrees from the base loft of the club. It should let you get the same range of lofts regardless of whether the shaft is in a 3 wood or driver, but not set the driver to 3w loft or vice versa.

The clubhead itself has a loft in the middle of the adjustable range as indicated by the driver adapter (10.5* in this case) and that loft will stay the same with the 3-wood adapter. The only thing that changes is the number on the adapter, where the 13* option is really 8.5* and the 17* option is really 12.5*.
