No offense intended (warning: that means I'm about to offend you!) to anybody who watched it but ...

Why the ***k would somebody watch a show of some people yapping about a big event that you are interested in watching WHILE said big event is going on somewhere else???

That doesn't make any sense to me.

Because there's a decent chance this sort of commentary would be more entertaining than regular coverage. This format allows the announcers to free flow more than the NBC announcers. Also, I bet they were cracking jokes and were not having to be so polite. The thought of Feherty and Company cracking jokes and telling stories might have been funny to listen to. I bet the Americans on the set were allowed to cheer like fans. So, this format would have been like watching golf with your buddies. I like the out of the box thinking.

They didn't show any of the coverage, though, right? They were just sitting around talking, and occasionally showing something on a replay. No?

I did not, but I could see someone flipping to it when there were commercials on the other channel..  Actually seems like it would be a natural for picture-in-picture.

They used a split screen during the Alternate Shot program to air the"live" action while Feherty and others were on camera, but they often talked over or totally ignored what was happening live at the time.  Didn't find the talking heads on Alternate Shot interesting.  So, I just watched the actual event on NBC but had to switch back to Golf Channel, after the last match was completed to see the award ceremony and the infamous US press conference, when NBC's coverage (and the Alternate Shot program) ended.

Thanks for filling us in on how they actually did Alternate Shot.  I used to be a fan of the old Mystery Science 3000 shows. I was hoping that this would be just as entertaining.  It doesn't sound like it.

      Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.

      It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story.       I am playing Arrowhead for the first time and I am pumped.  What are some things that I need to make sure and appreciate, for those that have played it before and love it? It has been a pretty dry winter so I am expecting rough to be forgiving which is nice and it will be playing much easier than it does in the late summer (I am assuming based on other colorado courses).  What should I make sure to not miss?
