Almost everyone returns the shaft at a steeper angle at impact than at address. Some didn't. Since the ball is in the same spot, the hands are often a bit higher.

I go to a top 100 instructor and I firmly believe you guys could run circles around him. Maybe I should sign up for Evolvr. I'm getting frustrated!

I've taken lessons from more than a few top 100 instructors or pros who are in the Golf Digest lists and found that my experiences left more than a little to be desired. This was back a long time ago, before I quit golf out of frustration. I actually quit cold turkey a couple of times. Granted, I'm not as swing IQ/feel savvy as I am now, but I wasn't familiar with the instruction world as I am now and just picked guys that were on the Golf Channel, appeared in the NYT, GD. I'm not saying all the pros on those lists are bad, it's just more complicated picking a teacher, than going by these lists. For the most part, the lists from year to year stay the same. There are lots of people who really know what they're doing who are not on those lists.

    • Wow, largest ever 36-hole lead at the Masters. Seems good. I don't really have much to add, but I'm having a great time nursing a cold by watching this tournament.  I doubt Rory fumbles this one, but you never know. As a fan, I hope he can close this out with two rounds to go.  I saw a funny comment somewhere where someone said Bryson should try to 3D print himself a green jacket.
    • Day 234 4-10 Blending hip/chest rotation backswing work and wrist arch in downswing. Pause at the top and slower swing. Recorded and hit foam balls.
    • Day 2, April 10 2026.  After watching today's excellent Masters broadcast, I have hit 18 balls, one at a time, each after doing the pelvis limiting drill.
    • Day 33 (10 Apr 26) - Played in the club Friday shootout with a slight twist as the course was setup for tomorrow’s local “Masters” one day tournament.  The pins were in some slippery places and the greens firm and bouncy.  Overall made for staying the process all the more important especially on the greens.
    • Rory up by six - makes me wonder if the powers that be will adjust Augusta’s moving day setup to be uber tough or uber getable to get a few closer.
