They are a nice looking club that's for sure. At $28.00 per club the price seems pretty good. Maybe a little high.  However, if the clubs don't fit the swing of the user they are not worth $0.28 each.

This link might help. http://stuccu.com/s/Ben+Hogan+Apex?tr=related_search

I have an older set of Hogan Apex forged irons that I keep in a display cabinet. Darn things were just to good looking to use. That, and I won them in a raffle, and they did not fit my swing. In that same display I have a set of (5 clubs) 1-5 wooden Ping Eye 2 clubs in almost mint condition.

I have seen them anywhere from $50-to over $100 on Craigslist; was sorta considering some of those a few months ago. I think the lowest I saw was around $40-45 for 4-E that was not in quite as good a condition as these. I don't know a lot about the putter, but unless it is a Scotty or similar, my rule of thumb on putters is around $20 or less. $75 -$100 for the lot would be an ok price. I wouldn't go over $100 for the lot unless I wanted them really bad.

Not a good price. You can see from the one photo a couple of the short irons have brown spots on the face. The seller tries to hide the fact by not showing any detailed pictures of the clubfaces; always a warning sign in my book. On my local craigslist a guy has a much better set listed at $165 which hasn't sold in over a month. http://cnj.craigslist.org/spo/4727015119.html Patience is key on ebay. If you wait until after Christmas ebay will be flooded with new stuff that people have replaced and prices will drop.
