Can anyone give me a valid review on the upswing putter? one was included in a set that i paid 80 bucks for... i thought it was some off-brand deal, because ALL that was on it was "upswing golf".. but i looked online, and found out that they're worth 60 bucks... anyway, i was just wondering if upswing is actually a good company or just overpriced? Also, what set of irons would complement the putter pretty well? what i mean, is i don't want a great quality putter with some really sorry irons or a sorry driver...

Uhm, I'll say simply this:

1) You paid $80 for a set of clubs 2) I've never heard of Upswing Golf Draw from those two things what conclusions you may...

well, i had never heard of upswing either, but i googled it, and found upswinggolf.com.... and i know that i shouldn't buy a set of clubs based on what looks good with the putter... what i was trying to say, is that you wouldn't but a thousand dollar driver and use a hundred dollar iron set... but then again... apparently, my driver is cheap as crap (knight venom, but i plan on keeping it for a good while, because i can drive straight around 200 yards with it

Seeing as there's probably only one person on this board who owns, has used or even seen for that matter, that putter (that'd be you), I'm not sure a review is possible or necessary.

Kinda like saying "Can someone review the apple pie I'm eating, and tell me if I should like it?"

Doesn't make sense.

Uhm, I'll say simply this:

no need to be so condescending

but like some other people have said, there's no need to match the rest of your clubs to your putter or vice versa. There's nothing wrong with owning a 100 dollar driver and then a 800 iron set. whatever works for you works. Given, once you improve and your handicap drops down, it would definitely be a good thing to consider investing in some nicer, name-brand equipment.

It wasn't. He asked for a review. I gave him the reasons why that's not going to happen.

This may just be a new or regional company. In my area we have a small company Prarie Golf, which has some pretty decent products. If you like it use it until you find something better. I used a HOG putter for a couple of years.

I bought and used the Upswing putter a few years ago.  It putted well, but did not setup the best for me.  It is a semi-mallet shape and rolled the ball well.  I gave it to my father-in-law and he loves it.  Excellent putter for the price I paid: $20.
