Where to play?

Me and a group of friends are looking to go on an away day, but we're stuck for where to play.

So I'm looking for suggestions on places to play maybe even a few fun stories from these places :)

We don't quite know at the moment we play alot throughout the UK but we're looking to play outside of the mainland haha

Lots of good experiences and information here, but we don't know where you are, where you want to go, or when you want to go there.  Makes it a little difficult to suggest courses.

Others have mentioned it, but you're not really giving us a lot to go on. How far are you willing to go? For how long? How much money are you willing to spend, how many people, etc.? I'm sure @k-troop could recommend some great courses in Hawaii, for example, but it will be moot if you don't plan on going there, you know what I mean?
