Well, my Thrash Talk this week will be published in the morning as always. I based it around Ryan Moore obviously, as he is turning pro this week. I will just leave a few quick questions in here until I publish my Thrash Talk in the morning. This will get some discussion going, but don't forget to read the entire article sometime tomorrow.

1- Will Ryan Moore be the next big thing on the PGA Tour?

2- Does the US Amateur mean as much as it used to?

**That ought to hold you all over until Thrash Talk is published.

This will go a long way in determining his future success. I think Moore will have a very strong finish to his 2005 season on the PGA Tour. He will take advantage of his sponsor's exemptions and will qualify for both the British Open and the PGA Championship. Not only will Moore earn his PGA Tour card for next season, he will be teeing it up at the Mercedes Championship at the beginning of next season. That's right, he will play well and taste victory sometime before the end of 2005. I don't think he will play well enough to make it into the Tour Championship later this year (top 30 in money), but I do think he will finish in the top 75 or so.

I don't think he's getting in to the British Open. The only way he could do that in such a short time would be with a win, and I don't see that happening in the next two weeks.

As have played against Ryan at the high school level, I wish him the best. I do believe he will become a big part of the PGA. I can also seem him turn into the next Davis Love III, top rate player that is always in contention.

If I were him, I'd set my goals for higher than DLIII. Like it or not, I think DLIII is a letdown. One major win? Eh... He should have bagged another PGA this year but didn't.
