Does any do this? Have thoughts on it? Here is a link: http://biokineticgolfswing.blogspot.com/2010/04/diagonal-stance.html

I have found that I naturally do this and it prevents me from hooking the ball like I normally do. I actually found out about it because I was at the range the other day and stopped hooking and was hitting long straight shots with every club and couldnt figure out what I was doing differently until I looked at my feet. I took the stance on the course and got my PR. Then I searched on the web to see if it was bad or what and I found this site and tons of other forums discussing it. I do it with every club except my 9-PW. I couldn't hit my hybrid at all and now I get perfect shots (might slice a little). Is this a bad habit I am getting into or should I just do what feels most natural? I assume this feels natural because of so many years of baseball where I hit like this.

Driver - Ping G15 12 Degree Loft
3W - Ping G10
3 Hyrbrid - Ping G15
4-PW - Taylormade Burner 2.0
Putter - Ping Anser 2

There are some benefits to having a slightly closed stance with the driver, if you're trying to hit up with it. As the clubhead starts its upward path, it will also start heading inward (leftward for a right handed golfer) so if you set up slightly closed, your path will still be outward to the target as it ascends - this being with the driver, of course. Since we hit irons with a negative AoA, the path should be outward as its coming down into the ball. A closed stance might lead to hooks. You might be unconsciously pulling your path left, your brain knows the club has to go left or you'll hook the snot out if it.
