New model fairways you can't go past the Titleist 915F,it has adjustment but you can tune to your preference, other fairways I found to be top line Ping G25 series or the Callaway Diablo Edge(no adjustment) both very good off the tee or grass. The Ping and Callaway you can pick up at good price now, they couple years old now but top clubs. Both very classic type fairways woods as is the Titleist.

Titleist 915 D2-10.5°, Titleist 915 F 15°, PING G25 16.5°, PING G30 Hybrid 19°
PING G25 4-W, Cleveland RTX 588 Rotex 2.0 48°/52°
Rife Bimini Island Series Putter, PING DLX Bag
Sureshot Rangefinder, PING Sensor Glove, Srixon Q star Balls.

vintage clubs are a dime a dozen on ebay ... can't understand why someone would not take advantage of new technology - not every new club looks like a multi-colored Cobra.

If you want a real classic get an old TM V-steel off ebay.

i bag a v steel 3 wood with a steel stiff shaft.  it's worn but hits great.

How about something you can hit well? Nothing more classic than two-putting for birdie.

Man I know Taylormade is the other end of the spectrum, but my Taylormade RBZ HL 3 wood is a club I'll never get rid of. Monster off the tee box and easier to hit off deck than a strong 3 wood. Even my buddies that hate white heads, adjustable hosels, only play Titleist kinda guys love to hit my 3 wood. You can get it pretty cheap on ebay now.
