Looks like a great place to hang out.

Was looking for somewhere, to ask about reconditioned balls.

Just came back from a trip to the east coast of USA. On my travels, found a PGA store, which was awesome.

Got some reconditioned Titleist ProV1x, for $25 for 24. In S.Africa, a new Pro V1x is about $60 for 24.

Played with them today, and my distance was off, by about 5-10 metres a drive. (am 23 handicap). is that normal, or, has the

3 weeks break, affected my game ?

Also bought some awesome Pebble beach golf shirts, reduced from $60 to $15.

Welcome to the forum @megarain

Reconditioned balls are a guessing game.  The are repainted, so you don't know what the poor guy really looks like underneath the paint.  I have had good luck with used balls from sites like www.lostballs.com.  I'm not sure if there is a similar service in SA or UK, but you can get decent balls that have been hit only a few times.  Many are range balls from Pro tournaments.
