Hey guys...1st post, brand new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone playing with these irons (Adams Idea)? I just purchased some today after being out of the game for almost 5 years (I used to swing Cobra's, but that is when I was playing every single day and shooting in the mid 70's). I had them fitted to me and my swing today and the clubs will actually be in in about 3 weeks.

Anyone else using Adams Idea Irons? What do you like/dislike about them? I was told that they were very forgiving and all around great clubs, but I wanted to hear it from the people who play with them.

Boy, when you get back into something, you leap with both feet, eh?

I've never hit Adams clubs, but those that have repeat what you say: very forgiving. You won't get the best feel out of them, but you'll begin scoring well earlier. If you do get around to playing more, you may switch off in a year or so.

I had a chance to hit the Idea hybrids/irons at a demo day and was very impressed with how easy they are to hit. The hybrids can also be pretty useful around the greens. I think you'll be pretty happy with your purchase, especially since you took the time to get fitted first. Let us know how the clubs play when they arrive!

They are the biggest irons I have ever set down! They are about as long as a brick! Just couldent get used to that factor.
