I felt this way for a while but after listening to Tiger's interview it renewed my irritation... We've had these player interviews for years, and why can't they get a decent microphone system setup so that you can hear the questions asked by the reporters in the press room so that you can understand what questions the pros are answering.

I believe NHL interviews don't mic the reporters either, but for whatever reason I can always hear the questions. Maybe just better acoustics? Aren't PGA pressers usually in a big tent? That would explain the poor acoustics compared to NHL which is generally in a press room.
