I recently read one of the benefits of a starter move (you know, when you kick in your right knee to start the backswing) was to fix a sway. I am excited to start try this. What's your starter move? If anyone know what Vijay Singh does - please, share. It's almost like

a double move. SG

Oh great, this is like one of those do you sleep with your chin above or below the sheets type of questions. Now my swing's really going to mess up. . . :-D Seriously, though. I've been trying to get rid of this one move at the top where I flatten out. Once I started shortening the swing things started coming together. My first move thought is to turn my hips without moving anything else. Of course, faults come into play that foil my swing, but that's why I practice. . .

My starter move is the word "dollar". It's a timing issue with me.

I do a slight forward press with the hands. It's not a conscious move; it just happens.

For me, it starts with moving my hands back, dragging the handle, trying to keep the clubface close to the ground as long as possible, like theres a board behind the clubhead that Im trying to push back.
