If all my clubs are D3 but my wedges d1 or D2, would it make sense that i tend to duff the wedges?? I noticed i am far more likely to duff my wedges than the other D3 clubs!!

Depends. There is a lot more to clubs than swing weight.

I got fitted for wedges. Tried 4-5 different shaft combinations. All the shafts were X-stiff, same weight range. The one shaft I just kept chunking shots.

All three shafts would probably produce identical swing weights. Yet on one of them I couldn't hit.

I'd look more into your technique over the equipment. 95% of the time it's the golfer not the clubs.

Well, i have project x in my wedges i believe and x100 in my irons!!

Could it be that??

I don't think it would.

Project X and DG are very comparable clubs. They are almost interchangeable. I would say Project X would produce a slightly lower launching, lower spinning.

When I got fitted for irons I tried out both. DG launched a tad lower than Project X, but spun about 500 rpms more.

There really isn't a dramatic change between the two shafts to cause that much impact issues.

well i seldom hit a lot of wedge shots on the driving range. Maybe i should. Our stupid range is on mats, not grass.
