Speaking of short par 4's. How would you tackle this little bugger?

3i off the tee along the "200" line. LW to the green. 3W to attempt to carry the water is too risky for my current game.

IF I manage to connect for a good drive, my avg distance is 235.  Around 1 out of 3 drives will connect for the long ball...but there is a water hazard in front of the hole with a steep lip around the back of the pond.  Should I risk a long drive over the pond or just play close to the water and pitch over it?  I have manged clear the water from the tee, but it will end up on a 35 degree slope under those two large trees near the green.

If your driving distance average is 235 then I would lay up.

66% of the time you are outright adding a penalty stroke. 34% of the time you are gaining 0.25 strokes versus laying up.

Not really sure going for it warrants all those penalty strokes. I see it as losing about half a stroke every time you try to go for that green on the drive.

Depends on how I feel for the day. If I am hitting the ball well I would probably take my Hybrid and aim for the left edge of that bunker. If I am not feeling comfortable then I would take my 5 iron and aim towards the center of the fairway.
