What would you like to hear for advice?

What clubs would you like to work on the most?

What setting would you prefer? (Range, back yard, golf course)

How much is a fair price for a new teacher?

What makes you most comfortable at a first lesson?

1. "This is why YOU shank and here's what to do to prevent it. 2. 8-noon pure on the range/monitor use teaching followed by 18 holes of golf with Eric or Mike teaching on the course. 3. Irons 100-220yds. 4. 8-5pm $1000, I'd buy lunch and green fees. 5. Comfortable? Serious about helping but a sense of humor.

advice ?           trust in your swing, its yours and your to old to change and thats ok (I am only 44 but i haven't got the time or inclination to go the                         whole rebuild thing!!)

Clubs  ?           Driver...driver....and driver! its my number one reason for dropping shots and finding trouble

setting  ?         In the "studio"   with the video so we can nerd up on the carnage before our eyes while using feel drills to achieve something                               using the visuals right then and there.I would say while I enjoy technical chat about swing mechanics etc, to work on my own I                             like to observe and practice a feel rather than 53 thoughts in the 1/2 sec waggle before each swing.

Cost?              Here in the UK at my club it costs £20 for half hr/40 minites ish...seems a pretty good deal for members I think

Comfort?        Personality,we need to get on and have a laugh and not get to technical

    • Can you elaborate on this?  There's a par-4 hole at the course I've played the most (was my home course for over a decade, now 50 miles away but I still go and play there) whose green is below the fairway and I realized recently it's one of three holes on the course I've never made birdie, despite that I often have a short iron into the green for my second shot.  It isn't even that I haven't made birdie, but I realize I often don't hit the green.  My typical play of the hole is to have a near-GIR and sometimes I get up and down, but not as often as I would if I were trying to 2-putt.
