Ok this is why baseball is a crazy stupid game is when you have one of those strange instances that only comes up ever few years and it happens to be during the 7th inning of the 5th game in a tied series and the winner going on to the ALCS.

The ruling was originally the ball was dead. In the case with this situation the batter never left the batter's box and didn't illegally bat the ball. So, the correct ruling was it being a live ball. What a head's up play by the 2nd year player Odor  in touching home plate.

Yes, it was crazy, but being from Toronto, I loved the final result

From the weird throw back to the pitcher to the 3-run bomb, it was easily the most insane inning of baseball I've ever seen.

After watching this inning and thinking about it quite a bit I blame Bannister. He should have pulled his team off the field as soon as things were being thrown. The fans were still throwing things in the 8th inning. I would have pulled the team and asked that either they cleared the stadium or wait until the situation was completely resolved. It just seemed like the fans were so riled up the the momentum change never benefited the rangers.

Blue Jays Fan here so I love the result too.

But hate to see an error to decide an important game.

Felt sorry for Toronto's Martin when that weird throw from the catcher happen but feel worse for Ranger's ss  Elvis .

The nerves must got to them cause it was really simple errors by Texas that cost them.

Pretty exciting for me when Joey Bats unloaded the bases.
