Shot my best score today!

I finally had a break out day and shot my personal best of 76.  My previous best was 87.  I've been on the verge of shooting a score like this for the past couple of weeks, but always managed to meltdown on the back nine. The nerves were still an issue today as I doubled the 17th and bogeyed the 18th. All in all I was still very pleased with the 76.

Way to go!!  A new low is always nice, but to blow the old one out of the water like that is something else.  Congrats!!!

I had a good day once a long time ago on an easy course from short tees and managed a 70 (par 71).

Never done better than +2 since.

That's a massive drop right there. 

I had a personal best a few weeks ago. Mine was an 83 from a prior best 85.

I also recently broke 80 for the first time in my recent push to get back into golf, but only after about 6 tries between 80 and 83, heh. It sounds like you just need to work on your mental game a bit.

Congrats, I did also on Saturday.  But will share that elsewhere as this is YOUR day.  That was BIG jump from your previous best.  Way to go.  Some much fun when it all clicks.
