I've been Playing Golf for: 7 months
My current handicap index or average score is: 14
My typical ball flight is: straight
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: push/fade

My drive is compact and pendulum like. I've been playing 9 holes every day for the past 6-7 weeks. This form is the only thing I've settled on that gives me any consistency. My drive is usually 250-275, but sometimes only 225 and as far as 300. I can get the fairway usually 7/9, but occasionally have a had day where it's more 50/50.

Videos:

I'm using the video tag along with the youtube url and closing the tag with the / but it's not imbedding.

Thanks for posting. It is really hard for us to tell much from that video. Either face on or from directly behind (Down-the-line) would be better. For down-the-line, have the camera on the line of your feet.

One thing I did notice is you do not turn your hips at all. This limits your swing a lot. Check out the thread below. The shorter swing method you are using is helpful for a novice, but eventually you want to get a more full swing.

Thanks boog... I'll get another video soon. I do get a small hip turn but it's not much. Something to work on at the range.

Keep filming yourself at the range so you can see progress. Sometimes feel is not real.
