Has anyone paid for a membership to this website? I have some serious doubts as to the use of a website like this. I feel as though there are more variables involved when picking the right golf ball . Variables such as launch angle and spin rate should be serious factors when selecting one I would think. If you know those variables then a pro would be able to help you determine the correct one. I don't know there is just some much gimmicky ideas surrounding golf, sometimes it's tough to weed out the absurd ones. I normally stick to my local pro.

Just looking for thoughts on services like this.

Ball speed, angle of impact, launch angle and spin rate on the ball are all fundamental mechanical factors that affect ball performance. Golf ball construction, compression and cover hardness are also critical parameters.

Pulled from their website.

I think they do look at those factors ;)

I am just saying that I am sure they took those factors when doing tests and ultimately providing "the golf ball you should use" but without providing that information how could they possibly know. Maybe that's the magic behind the site?

I pulled up the site to check it out. $20.00 to tell me what ball I should be playing?! What a crock of sh*t. Anyone who would sign up for this ought to have their friggin head examined.

First, you would need to have a launch monitor to correctly do this. Then you would have to be a mind reader since feel has a huge part in golf ball selection. I could go on that sight and they could tell me I needed to play a Nike One Black. Well Nike One Blacks feel like crap to me so then what?

Anyway, save your money. This site is a total fraud and could in no way give you information worth $20. Read the back of some boxes, buy two or three different kinds of golf balls, then take them on the course and see how they perform. No website can do this for you.

Agreed, proper fitting is done in person with a launch monitor and most importantly a PROFESSIONAL fitter.

Isn't trying out new stuff part of the fun.

Balls are the cheapest part of the game, goofing around with different and new ones isn't something I'd like to NOT do myself.
