The rule is clearly and quite narrowly defined.

I have a broom stick putter. I anchored my left elbow and upper arm against my body. I was able to hold my forearm steady and putt the ball with a perfect pendulum motion side-saddle with no problem ending up within a foot of my target from 15 feet on my carpet with no practice at all. This looks like a winner winner chicken dinner.

Tucking the lead elbow and forearm against the body is prohibited.

interestingly, 'anchor the elbow to the body" is allow in conventional style.

It will be interesting to see what happen to the sternum putter guys.

I had to put my long putter away this past season and learn to putt conventional.

To me, putting is the same as chipping stroke except I don't hit the ball, I try to be more gentle and roll/stroke the ball.

She said upper arm and elbow (not forearm and elbow), so that is allowed from what I see in the rules.

That might be what you meant and just wanted to point out the difference, but I wasn't sure from the way you phrased it. Or do you see some detail in the rule that I'm overlooking? (I've been guilty of that before.)
