What is your favorite LPGA event?

Mine does not exist any more. It was the Rochester International

I went there when it was held at Locust Hill. Almost all the TOP players showed up because it was a good preparation for the US Open. Over the years, I got to see Annika, Lorena, Dottie, Juli, Natalie!,Paula!, Patty Sheehan, Laura Diaz, Betsy King, etc.

The ANA Inspiration, a.k.a, Dinah Shore. The finishing hole is nice and the winner jumps in the pond.

In 2006, my son and I went to the practice round of the Women's US Open at the Newport CC.  It was great to see Annika, Laura Diaz, Juli, Michelle Wie (as David Leadbetter walked with her) and some young and upcoming stars!  It was extremely windy.  We also talked with Dottie Pepper, as she was making the rounds in preparation to be the on-course reporter for the tournament.  I told her that Joe the Pro Merendo at the Amsterdam Municipal Course sends his greetings.  She said,"You tell Joe to get down to see me this winter!" Joe has a picture of Dottie with her dog, Shank, in his pro shop at the muni.  Dottie believes in doing it right, and tours the course to see the conditions, including which way the wind is blowing. The wind is a huge factor on that course. Dottie and Joe go "way back", and I remember going to a scramble fund raiser at the muni when Dottie was married to Doug Mochrie.  The tournament's purpose was to raise money for Doug's father, I believe.
