I was talking about have to have the score attested.  I've never entered hole by hole.

Well....it might have something to do with dynamic course rating changes I've been hearing about, so I could see where the system needs a database on how hard the holes (their scoring) are during normal play.  This would then be used to calculate your score differential on a "harder" day.
