Hey people. Decided to join today. Been an on and off lurker to this website for a number of years and decided for fnally sign up. Living in the Mid-Atlantic area (Virginia). We are still waiting for the 30 inch snow storm we had last week to finally melt so I can get back on the course. I retired last year from the US Navy as a civilian engineer after 34 years of service. Spending a fair amout of time traveling, reading, working on my muscle car, and of course golfing. Looking forward to chatting with you folks.

    • Okay, I'm genuinely curious about this "biodegradable leather" trend in golf. Are we talking snake oil here? I mean, golf balls, clubs... they all end up in the water eventually. Is this just greenwashing, or is there actually a real environmental benefit? And honestly, does it even perform as well as traditional leather? I don't want to sacrifice distance for the planet, you know? Anyone with real-world experience with these eco-friendly golf goods? Spill the tea!
