9Hi All

Recently purchased a set of RSI2s, but on close inspection noticed the rubber insert on the handlebar speed slots on some of the irons have split / sunk. Also there is no serial number on the 7 Iron, but from what ive heard thats not unusual. I've attached a couple of pics.

Can any RSI2 owners help?

The serial numbers can be found etched into the back of the hosel on drivers, fairways, and rescue clubs. For iron sets, the serial number can be found on the 5-iron (or the 7-iron for newer product), and neither wedges nor putters will have a serial number.

If you have broken your club, please take it in to your nearest retailer for evaluation. The retailer will call in the damaged club, and have it sent in to us for repair/replacement. To exercise our two year warranty on our clubs, you do not need a receipt or proof of purchase unless it is specifically requested. To be covered by our two year warranty, you must have your sales receipt from the authorized retailer. The consumer may be responsible for shipping charges to return the defective product back to us. We will return the repaired or replaced product at no charge.

Did you buy them from a reputable seller or store?  If there's no serial number on the 5i or 7i I'd be concerned they were fake.

I have RSi2s, 4-PW. All of them have a serial number etched on the back of the hosel. I do have some of the polymer coming off of them, but only from the face slots, not from the speedpocket.

Do your RSI2s have the tungsten insert in the toe of the 3,4,5?

The old story im afraid, bought them on ebay from someone who already bought them on ebay. No serial numbers on any of them.

I've had my set of Rsi2 now going on two years, and they were all purchased directly from TaylorMade.

They all have the serial number etched into the hosel.  I would "suspect" the one(s) you have that do not have the serial number etched in the hosel are counterfeit............
