I played a 9 hole golf course in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco many years ago. I started with a triple boogie on the first hole playing by myself and was joined by two ladies a couple holes later. I ended up shooting par for 9 holes with a birdies and a hole in one in the last hole or 9th hole.

Never give up even when you start with a triple boogie. I have the ball, score card mounted in a shadow box frame.

The first time that I broke par for 18 holes. I was in between my junior and senior year of high school and had been playing right at 2 years. I was playing in a Chrysler Vince Gill junior tournament during the summer. It was a MISERABLE day. It was muggy and raining, but that wasn't the worst part. I've had problems with my left shoulder and it was bothering me extremely bad that morning. The pain was so bad that I could barely make a swing on the range as I was warming up. I nearly WD, but stayed in it because my dad had worked the night before and came to watch me play. I started birdie-birdie, much to my surprise. At the end of the day I had made a few birdies with a few bogeys. I ended up shooting 1 under to win the tournament by 5 shots.

P.S. - My dad stayed throughout the entire round even though he had planned to just walk 9 with my group and then go home to bed.

P.S.S. - It was Beaver Brook Country Club which is a private club in Knoxville, TN so needless to say that was the first time I had played the course. The only time I've ever played there for that matter.

In other words, you aren't just under par for the day, but under par for your total time at the course. Good going!

I don't have a very memorable round of golf to contribute yet.

Haha, true. I never thought of it that way. That's kinda neat. Thanks for the ego boost.

Most memorable is when my Dad and I played Lake Buena Vista at Disney. We played the back 9 without seeing anyone other than the beer cart girl. It was like we had our own private course.

2nd most memorable was a few days later playing the Patrick AFB course. Something caught my attention, looked over and saw a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. I had forgotten they were sending up a satellite. I told my Dad to look. He watched that rocket until it disappeared from sight then turned and said "I've never seen a rocket launch before". That was kinda special.
