I have learned a lot because I had nothing to go on.  I looked around at other websites and found that this one blew the others away, not only in content and information but in how the website is run, how individuals interact, and that even when people disagree or have heated arguments, they can remain amicable and respectful.

I have learned that no matter what you know, someone else knows something you don't (I learned this in Excel where even the best experts can always learn something new, even from beginners) and although one should be careful with what advice they take and try to apply, it can be vetted and used.

I have learned that LSW is a wonderful tool and speaks to my analytical nature and brings into light those points many would take for granted that seem contrary to common sense, including about putting, distance and accuracy (the full swing).

My hats off to the administration (even when I disagree with some of the things they say, their views or whatever) because I know at the end of the day, they really care not only about this website but the people on it, the game, and giving good, proper and valuable advice.

There are many people on here who have helped me in many ways, not only with golf, but just people in general and that at the end of the day we all share the common bond and love/hate of the game.

How to make the most out of video. Already mentioned camera angles, but also learned how to use video more effectively, for example high fps versus regular speed, the member swings forum, technical stuff like how to fix a frame crack with gorilla glue, how to use swing analyzer software, how to keep the tripod steady in the wind, protect the camera from rain, cool new tripods coming to market, etc...

Also seeing lots of others here use video, plus encouragement from @iacas to use video (back when I was using it much less) helped me be a lot less conscious of using video when practically no one else around me is using it and some giving odd stares and looks - I could care less now what people think and I'm in my own world and better at staying focused on working on my primary piece. Now a lot more efficient using the camera, blending regular, high speed, setting up proper angles, but always looking to use it even more effectively.
