I've been Playing Golf for: 4 yrs
My current handicap index or average score is: 10 handicap
My typical ball flight is: left to right
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Inconsistent Ball striking

 

Hello everyone,

I am really struggling with my golf game, I can't seem to make consistent solid contact with my irons. I have reviewed my swing so many times and cant seem to figure out what I am doing wrong. I have attached a youtube video of my down the line swing. I wont have a front view until tomorrow or Friday.

One simple thing to start, you have too much weight back into your heels, can cause some issues with contact. Check this out.

Update,

Any help would be appreciated. I struggle the most with heel shots/shanks. I also know that my downswing is over the plane, but I can never figure out how to drop it onto the plane better. 

I apologize for the bad angles. 

I should also note that I am around a 9 handicap when I am hitting well, but around a 20 when i start hitting more off the heel.

I did it for you, but please embed them in the future.

Also, not to be Debbie Downer much, but the camera angles do matter. You'll get a lot better feedback if the cameras angles are good.
