This one is unusual...

Complaining of an injured left wrist, he played the final holes one-handed in a total of 51 shots. He claimed he didn't dare to withdraw with his injury, having been fined £50 by the Tour in 1977 after pulling out of a tournament with a wrenched knee. This remains the highest 18 hole score in the history of the European Tour.

Alas, all is not lost as he won the Italian Open in 1982.

I'm sure he's glad we all remember, lol.

Seriously, though . .I like a guy who throws letters from Nick Faldo in the trash.

I like his attitude. Finish the round no matter what.

I use old Taylor Made clubs from eBay and golf shops.

    • I have been on a roll in November. Today was a 77 (69.2/115, 6,050 yards) on a wet course with dew covered bumpy greens. Better greens and I might have shaved a few more strokes off the score.
