As I can't find a decent bet on Euro 2016 I've had an each way nibble on four outsiders in Cologne, makes it a bit more interesting.

I am watching right now. The rough seems to be quite brutal (not quite US open like I guess, but a lot harder than on a lot of other Tour courses). One of the players said that you can only hit 8 iron at most out of the second cut. There have already been some double bogeys. Not surprisingly, if one can find the fairways, scoring is quite good. Soft and moderately sloped greens.

Just in this moment, one player just lost a ball in the high rough and had to go back to the tee

Raphael Jacquelin is in the lead after a -7 65.

Richie Ramsey walked away with a BMW after a hole in one.

62 players under par with the cut forecast today to be -1.

Defending champion Pablo Larazzabal shot a 68 as did Henrik Stenson.

Larazzabal's wife was voted most beautiful wife on the tour.

It was an interesting day yesterday. Stenson took first place, Oleson shorty behind and Luiten, Larranzabal and Wiesberger made a move into the top 10. Sergio Garcia T14 and with a hole in one. More of this on moving day please.

A lot of water on course and greens, play suspended. Big chance they won't play at all today.

They just started playing again, a lot of players still have to begin with their third round. For the top ranked players in the field like Stenson, Garcia and Luiten it means they will have to play two full rounds today.

Messy yesterday, looks like a Monday finsh now.

They try to finish today, 4th round already starts in 1,5 hour for some. Unless new rain is coming obviously...

    • Day 5: did a stack session. Did some slow swings between sets, working on hands down.
    • So, I might have to get out of the C-Taper golf shaft. I have an older Mizuno with a KBS Tour shaft in. I was messing around with closing my eyes and feeling where the weight of the club is being felt at. The C-Taper was all in my fingers. I didn't feel much of anything of the club head or shaft of the club. It felt super heavy in my hands. The KBS Tour I could feel a weight further away from my hands, out in space.  The Mizuno weights 2 grams more, but is about 2-3 swing weights lighter than my current irons.  So, yea. I am thinking I might sense the club better with maybe a less stout golf shaft and maybe a lighter swing weight. Probably more to do with the golf shaft. I am thinking the feeling of the weight out in space is more of the shaft loading more easily.
    • Day 25 (2 Apr 26) - Worked on green side chips at the course before helping with the school golf tournament today.  Worked on low flighted spinners to get solid hop and stops.
    • Day 227 4-2 Chest and hip turn with flow drill. Trying to get a rhythm to the hip movement/less segmented feeling.
    • A bit back at it tonight. I just wanted to add in the feel of a softer left arm through out the backswing. This helps me hinge the club. I make sure I am not bending it a ton, but not straightening it. It helps feel like I can keep the club in front of me more and lift the club up sooner.
