Why isn't it, "Ouvert Championnat de France"?

Good question. Maybe they didn't want to go completely overboard and at least use some international terminology? ;-)

An unknown, young French player took the morning lead btw. Really like when that happens..

A good first day for Joost. -2

Lucas Bjerregaard in the lead at -5,both Molinari brothers at -3 with Rory shooting a level par 71.

Projected cut is at +2. Still so far Willet, Kaymer, Yang, Westwood, McDowell and Fitzpatrick are on the wrong side.

Wiesberger and Luiten are making a move.

Wow, Wiesberger... was at -5 today after 8 holes and four shots clear, but water and a triple bogey on his ninth (18)..... harsh.

Wiesberger :(

Can't be happy about his round, coming from -5 back to level par at the end. 12 players within 2 strokes now, including Luiten, Pieters, Molinari...

The course must be playing tough, not many under par.Looks like another good round for Joost. Mcilroy out late today and he's climbing the leaderboard without firing a shot.

So far, when I record any of his rounds I can't watch Live he shoots a decent at best round...but when I forget to record he shoots lights out.

Yeah,he ****ed up big time in the first round.

All my bets have tanked except Levy, need him to get a decent score today.

Only one bogey from Mcilroy yesterday, maybe his putter is getting hot at last, let's see what today says.
