Not much interest from the punters on here.

On the Euro tour,it's the Paul Lawrie matchplay tourney, they are down to the final today which will be played between Alex Noren and Anthony Wall. Wall hasn't won on the tour for 16 years, while Noren won the Scottish open a few weeks back and must be hustling for a Ryder cup spot.

At the Travelers Daniel Berger shoots a 62 to take a 3 shot lead into the final round, some very low scoring on Saturday with Russell Knox shooting 64 to take a share of 2nd place.Brooks Koepka also shooting a 64 to take him to-9 and continue his good form.

I'm trying bud, really, really wanted that match play event to be compelling but no one there and honestly, the course is benign, featureless, and boring.

I'm from CT but haven't been interested in that event since I lived there and it was called the GHO.

Have a tee time tomorrow and hoping to drop a 75 or something to fulfill my golf obsession for the weekend.  Anything over 82 will be considered a totally failed golf weekend.  :8)

I watched the final few holes at the matchplay quarter finals, that was all.

With Knox in the mix at the Travelers I may set the alarm and watch them coming in.

Tee time 10am tomorrow at my local course,we have a three ball,a Scotsman,Irishman and American.

You'll pardon me if I root for the Yank.  It is Olympic season after all.

Playing here,The Eastern Star golf course only 5 mins from my house.A round costs about 25 dollars with caddie and cart. This is the clubhouse with the 9th green in front.

The signature par 3 13th hole.

Same hole looking back at the tee.

14th tee.

It's a traditional par 72 and not easy.loads of water and bunkers.By the way it's not considered as one of the better courses around my area,I would honestly say the fairways and greens are not"manicured"but the groundstaff are trying hard.

Oh, for some reason I thought u were in GB somewhere.  Looks nice but not the links land I was expecting.

Edit:  just looked it up.  Thailand!  Ok.  Envy back in full force.  Been there once, my goal is to retire there or Bali, or The Philippines.  Maybe I'll join you someday.

I've been here 10 years now and don't want to move again....but never say never.

As an aside, the"better"courses would set you back 100 dollars. One of these is the Siam Country club where the ladies play the Honda Classic every year.I've played it once,I'm happy enough with my local course.

If you decide to come to Thailand to play golf it's best to come in low season as the prices nearly double in high season(December,January,February,March,April)

They're just teeing off the final of the matchplay and the wind is blowing 40mph in Scotland.

Check this out,the most exposed greens are the 12th and 16th and if the ball doesn't sit on the greens because of the wind they're going to change holes to the 1st and the 9th which are more sheltered, the players have already been advised.

The first tee shots have gone wild left and wild right,it's gonna be good stuff.

Early 4th round play 59,58,57,? alert

Furyk is -10 for the day through 11 holes . . . . moving from T70 to T6, still 6 behind Berger.
Will be interesting to see if he can post a number and see if others go low, or if he gets a top 10 or better out of it.

Players play, tough players win!

Now -11 through 12.....jfc Furyk
