Spending the next few nights in a hotel. Put a pillow against the wall and leaned my head against it practicing swing motion.

9/27 - grip x 5 mins. Played yesterday and could clearly tell a difference in my ball striking after gripping a club everyday for 5-10mins for the past (almost) 3 months

9/29 - grip, stance, slow take away, smooth swing with good balance and follow through with the Driver this morning.

My ball striking has tremendously improved thanks to this 5-min challenge and LSW, but I've pretty well ignored my driver swing over these past 3-4 months. I find I'm usually off-balanced in my follow through with it and so this will be my new focus for a bit

Went to the range tonight and hit some balls just for the heck of it. I did good up until my trip this week. Perhaps I will complete it next month.

Completed the September 5 minutes of practice challenge

This was the first time I had done this and it was quite the learning experience.  Having to spend a few minutes a day doing something for my golf game showed me how much I could actually work on every day and there are lots of things that can help from little to big things

I will keep going for sure

I would have, but I got off track at the very end with my trip to Dallas.

So far, so good in October, but hurricane Matthew will make things interesting in the next few days.

    • Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.
    • I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
