im headed to vegas in feburary for a business trip. im staying at the hilton. saturday i will have all day to play golf. where should i play? please provide link and prices please.

It won't be the lowest price you can find, but usually Hotels like the Hilton have deals with some of the courses, or through the hotel concierge. You have less risk of Internet rip offs that way, especially if you are a single.

I've onl y played two places in Vegas.. Rio Secco, which is extremely private, and the Bear's Best, which I absolutely loved.

thanks for the sggestions guys. in the other thread someone said they played bears best for around $150 but in their website it says around $250? how do i get the cheaper rate?

I second Bears Best. One of my top 3 courses.

This looks like a similar idea to "Tiger's Dream 18" from the video games. Did Jack pick his favorite 18 holes from his other courses and put them together? If so, no wonder it's so popular!

That is the case. There's another Bears Best in Atlanta too. Different holes though.

      Great post and I agree with almost all of it. The discipline piece is real — most golfers want the result without the reps. One thing I'd add: there's a version of discipline that happens away from the range too. The 20 handicapper who texts the next day with a full-speed video — that's not just a practice discipline problem. That's an identity problem. He still sees himself as a 20 handicap who's trying something new. He hasn't made the internal shift to being the golfer who practices with intention. I work on the mental side of the game and what I've found is that the golfers who actually stick with the slow, boring, disciplined practice are the ones who've done some internal work on who they believe they are as a golfer. The ones who quit after two range sessions never changed the story they tell themselves. They're still running the old software. Discipline isn't just "will you do the reps." It's "do you believe you're the type of golfer who does the reps." That belief piece is what separates the ones who text you the next day with a full-speed swing from the ones who actually put in the work.
