I visited the site and would like to see what you have for feedback after using it for a week or two.

Ditto.  These same folks are advertising the XE1 wedges 2 for 1. Quite a bit of discussion on another thread.

We haven't got a ton of feedback yet on the GX7, but will start circling around to some of our customers in the next week or so, when our holiday customers are all taken care of. Yes, our company also designed the xE1 wedges as well, and the Speed Stik. We do quite a bit of marketing on the Golf Channel.

I also placed an order before Christmas and have had no contact whatsoever from the company.  My CC had been charged but I never received an order confirmation from the company.  I called and the guy found my order and said the club should ship this week.  I called again yesterday and a different guy told me "maybe three weeks".  Im considering calling my CC company and having them initiate a refund.

Thanks for your comment. What is the name on the order? Just shoot me a message, so I can check it out. The order form does let you know that it was a pre-sale, and most of those have came in minus the Senior Flex. We will have a very large shipment in next week, and I am sure that is when yours will go out.

I got my GX7 on Friday January 30th and headed straight to the course.

After I hit a few balls on the range and used my Swing Caddie Doppler Radar to let me know exactly what I was doing.

I tested it against my Callaway XR driver.  The XR with a club head speed of 93-95 flew in the air 205, the GX7 club head speed of 83-87 flew 185.  The Swing caddie does not give you roll out only ball flight.

I tried to hit several shot using it like a fairway wood and had very bad results.  Maybe I just need to practice using it to learn how to hit it more like an iron.

I then went out and played two balls on the course, one with my Callaway XR and one with the GX7.  I even used different color balls so I knew which one did what.

On the Callaway, I was averaging 225 - 235 on my drives  but not always on the fairway,  with the GX7 my best drive was 211 yards but the drives tended to stay more on a straight line.  I used a GPS for exact distance on these shots not the Swing Caddie.

I used it like I would my fairway metals and hybrid and never hit it consistently.  I hope I can improve this.

Pros:  Flies straighter off the tee.  Better distance than a 3 wood off the tee.

Cons:  Hard to hit off the fairway, Very tinny sound on the face if you strike is square with above an 80 mph club head speed.  Sounds like it could shatter every time you hit it square and flush.  Looks cheap for what you pay for this club.

Monday I am going to only play this club for a round of golf.  Hopefully I will learn how to hit it off the grass.  Other problem is finding the tee height to use.  Driver tee is too high and 3 wood tee seems too low.  It is a work in progress.

Oh they shipped it when they said they would and clearly informed me that there was a delay because of pre-launch of the product.

Great Feedback--

Every 1 mph of clubhead speed gives you 2.5 yards- Swing the gx-7 faster (equal to current driver) and you should equal the distance and be a LOT straighter- esp  with slightly more loft.  not to mention the lower scores from hitting more fairways

keep in mind the overall avg distance should include roll-out, plus all of the big misses with the callaway

While club head speed is important, it is more important to get good center of face contact.  My smash factor on my Callaway is between 1.2 and 1.35.  I hit about 60% of my fairways and those that are not in the fairway are not so far left that I usually am not in too much trouble.  My major problem, is I hit such a strong draw that I have to aim at the right side of the fairway to be in the center.

I am hoping the GX7 will remove part of this problem.  On my first few balls on the course it seems to be working, much straighter ball flight.  My smash factor is been running about 1.25 average off the tee as measured by the Swing Caddie.

Getting it off the tee isn't the problem, I so far have not had a good strike off the fairway and I am very good and consistent with my fairway metals and hybrids.  With those I just sweep the grass and end up chest high and hit them long and straight.  With the GX7 I have not been able to just sweep the grass and get the ball in the air, and when I do hit it off the fairway I get a slice.  Very interesting since I seldom slice.

Only down side is the very tinny sound this club has and try to learn how to hit from the fairway due to interesting bottom design.

On Monday I am going to once again play two clubs and two balls to see what the results are for 14 holes that I can use this combination on.  Report to follow.

Thank you all for your interest in the GX7. If you have any questions or concerns, our number is (888) 241-2460 and our support team is in from 8-5 CST Monday through Friday. We can answer any questions about the club itself, or any concerns about what you see on BBB. We rated A+ with the BBB, but for your concerns you see are for DVD customers only. The monthly memberships have nothing to do with our clubs or training aids.

Before I ordered my GX7 I contacted the company because I read the Rip Off Report.

I had looked at the free video's and was going to order but saw the $29 monthly fee.  I didn't order for that reason.

I contacted the company about this problem if I purchased the GX7, I as assured NO by a really good customer service representative.

I purchased not only the GX7 but also the IS1 7 iron training club.

I was only charged for the products and no monthly fee.

I think they got this problem worked out.

The IS1 training club actually works and helps with center of contact what we all want.

Thanks

I will wait for feedback from a member(s) who have been around for awhile rather than rely on feedback from new members. Not questioning their reliability exactly, just seems a coincidence that all of a sudden several "newbies" appear and their very first post relates to the GX7, or the company and their defense regarding the bad publicity from BBB and others.  I used to say in gambling circles  "Trust everyone, but cut the cards".  The company may very well be upstanding, and the online stuff arose from misunderstandings. I don't care either way, just would like to know how the club performs before I make a purchase at some future date.

Perhaps all of the "newbies" like myself are posting for the first time because when you google GX7, it sort of leads you here.  Especially if you are looking for reviews. I had never heard of this website before and have only read the threads pertaining to the GX7.  I have no interest otherwise.

Yes, that is entirely possible as well. We have had "shills" in the past however. I was not levying any accusations against any individual person, just the timing based on past experiences. I hope that any problems you encounter, will be resolved.

I'll be posting a "first look" on Monday. Looking forward to it a lot. So far, I'm really impressed with the company's responses.

what do you think of the new offering by Tour Edge 14 deg senior's driver? I received an email from RG offering it at something like $157 or just under $200 for shaft upgrade

Got mine today and just got back from the range. My first impressions are positive. I'm almost certainly keeping it. My range has mats, so I'll be trying it out on the course Friday. Off the mats, it is easy to hit. Yes, it sounds tinny but so does my new Ping G30 driver. No big deal.

The one thing I noticed too is the low trajectory. Even hitting it like a 7 iron, it goes pretty low. I don't think it's a bad thing. I'm out at 200 yards with it, so that is okay. I find it easier to hit than a 3 wood. Off the tee might be different, but off the rubber tees, it's a line drive to center, as long as I didn't pop it up to second.

Compared to the G30. Forget about it.

good to know. One thing that helps me with getting more height, is to make sure I have adequate wrist cock during the back swing, it provides one more lever and takes less effort. It seems as when I try and make sure the elbow does not go behind me, it automatically helps with a bit more wrist cocking action. I just make sure that right elbow stays tucked in as long as I can. Also results in more depth, keeping it forward or right on shirt seam. Please get back with us after the honeymoon phase.

OK, today I played a full round of golf with the GX7, and my Callaway XR driver and my Cleveland Black 5 wood.  I used Bridgestone E6 balls, one white and one orange to not have a difference in ball performance.  I hit the range first, hit about 15 shots with each club.

My Callaway XR was consistently longer with consistent ball flight with a consistent  draw that once I adjusted to never was in a bad position for my second shot.

The GX7 is maybe a good gimmick for a low club head golfer, that can't hit a fairway metal or a hybrid.  For me it just seems to be a cheep club that as a 3 wood substitute does perform better for distance than my Cleveland Black 3 wood.  My pro took my 3 wood out of my bag a long time ago and replaced it with a 5, 7 and a 3 hybrid.

The reason I wanted to purchase the GX7 was I was hoping to use this club to replace my driver and my 5,7 and maybe my hybrid with some long irons and another wedge in my bag.

I can hit my 7 iron longer than the GX7 off the fairway and much straighter.  I play Cobra FlyZ irons which are very forgiving and give you plenty of distance.  My 7 iron is good for 160-175 yard.  The best I saw out of the GX7 off the fairway was about 150 with very low trajectory.  Tinny sound my foursome even questioned.

Hopefully they will honor their return policy as I feel I gave this club a fair an honest test against top of the line clubs that work for me.

Sorry I didn't have a positive experience with the club as they show in there video from 7 Canyons in Sedona, which I played many times before it became the Enchantment Resort and no longer can be played by the public.

I am going to contact the company tomorrow to see about the refund, I will advise of these results.

As a member of Revolution Golf, I have tried several of their clubs and have always got a refund without any hassle.

Hoping others have a better experience.

@BradL seems a fair and comprehensive review. More to hear from @Blackjack Don. The Tour Edge is looking better in my viewpoint, but higher in price.  I think the Tour Edge's main selling points are high loft, offset, A flex shaft.  The offset hozel is a departure from typical drivers.

I have owned Tour Edge and still have an old set.  I bought a set of the New Tour Edge Offsets  Hot Launch 2 irons from Revolution Golf and sent them back after three rounds because the offset turned my draw into a hook.

Tour Edge is an excellent club, but many golf shops have quit carrying them so they are hard to test before you purchase.

Tour players do play them and don't get paid to use them so I know they are a top notch brand.

I still use a Tour Edge Exotic in my bag for the 150 yd shot that I know will always land near my target.

I highly recommend them if you have a fad or slice problem.

For Irons I really like the Cobra FlyZ because they help give you the draw but not a hook.  Balls go a mile.  Better than the Tailormaid RBZ I played for a few years.

Hittum long and straight.
