They say range 5-1000 yards, 250 to the flag.
Does that mean that if flag is at 255 it does not pick it up?
What will it detect at 500 yards?
Has anyone tried this new model?

I'm guessing they mean in the range of 5 yards to 1000 yards, so it will pick up lets say 553 yards, I think you just mis understood it.
