Compared to what @woodzie264? 6 months - It looks pretty damn good to me. Nice work.  That is not an easy fix...actually nothing about changing your swing is easy. Well done.

9/14/20 - Right elbow straight w/7i

 

@iacas, this is the first day I notice some improvement with keeping the right elbow straighter. The picture hasn’t changed a lot, but I think it’s moving in the right direction 🙂

I'm curious what does right elbow straight actually mean? Straight in what sense?

If you look at my early swings, my right elbow would collapse close to 90* around A4, Erik is trying to elongate my right elbow so as to not flex that much. It will of course flex, the right elbow is not to be straight (literally), but straighter than where I was.

10/14/20 - I see little difference

 

Playing well lately though. Won a scramble tourn 2 weeks ago, and then my team won a local ProAm charity event.

I feel like there was some initial improvement (keeping elbow straighter than 90*), but despite all this time, since then I don’t see PROGRESSIVE change ...I’m still flexing far more than what I see guys on TV doing. But, if the main point is to keep the elbow from flexing to 90*, I do see that I consistently stay short of that....so that’s better. Not sure how much flex is too much, what angle am I shooting for?

      I honestly believe if they play longer tees by 300-400 yards, closer to or over 7,000 yards, more rough, tougher greens, women's golf will become much more gripping.  BTW, if it weren't for Scottie killing it right now, men's golf isn't exactly compelling.

      Yeah, that. It stands out… because it's so rare. And interest in Caitlin Clark will likely result in a very small bump to the WNBA or something… and then it will go back down to very low viewership numbers. Like it's always had. A small portion, yep. It doesn't help that she lost, either. Girls often don't even want to watch women playing sports. My daughter golfs… I watch more LPGA Tour golf than she does, and it's not even close. I watch more LPGA Tour golf than PGA Tour golf, even. She watches very little of either. It's just the way it is. Yes, it's a bit of a vicious cycle, but… how do you break it? If you invest a ton of money into broadcasting an LPGA Tour event, the same coverage you'd spend on a men's event… you'll lose a ton of money. It'd take decades to build up the interest. Even with interest in the PGA Tour declining.
