Compared to what @woodzie264? 6 months - It looks pretty damn good to me. Nice work.  That is not an easy fix...actually nothing about changing your swing is easy. Well done.

It's not that. It's very disjointed. Left hand a little strong, right hand weak.

Before I start practicing a less-than-desirable grip, is this better? I want to have the right feel before I engrain the wrong thing.

Think about where the Vs are pointing. Left hand only, see where it points in a mirror. Then right hand should over lay the thumb so it’s V points in the same place. The right hand here looks weak because it’s pointing straight up. The other check for the left is how many knuckles you see at set up.

so, if my left hand is a bit strong, my right V should be pointed in the same direction? is not that what Erik wants me to address? I think I'm confused

Yes. But the video you posted has a strong left hand and weak right hand. Just rotate the right a bit to be stronger and make sure it sits on the left thumb along the life line.

A bit, but I think your right hand should sit higher on your left and even be a little stronger to match the left. It is like they are separated too much.

It should feel different, more compact like both hands are one. FWIW, when Erik posted that video about the grip in October, I rechecked mine and I was off too. I saw movement when I gripped tighter (face closing). So I check it every time I grip now. It will feel odd for a while, but keep checking it. Try getting them more overlapped too. The Vs look better.

I actually looked at that last night...guess that wasn't apparent 😒

apparently not long enough. 

agreed - need to wait til kids/wife's schedule slow down a little.  I've thought about it several times. I will definitely respond better to in-person instruction

      I missed about 11 weeks of golf this summer due to a back issue, and my distance is still not recovered.  Yet my Handicap Index is 7.0, as compared to 9.1 last January.  So apparently I'm better!  TBH, I haven't improved any skills, with the possible exception of making better decisions.  Ah well, it'll be fun in the new year, as it always is.

      Yeah, it started Tuesday night.  I watched the first hour and a half or so of it. I enjoyed it. It was fast paced, different, entertaining, etc. I think it's a perfect thing to watch in the winter when good portions of the country are stuck inside and have nothing else to do on Monday evenings. (First week was on a Tuesday but the rest of the matches are on Mondays I believe) The whole thing ran pretty smoothly IMO. Technology seemed to work fine, and if this is the "worst" that it's going to look and feel, I'm here for it.  My wife bought a Boston Common shirt last night because she likes the logo. I think Boston Common is the best logo and I'll probably pick up a hat or shirt from them as well. There isn't one team that is made up of 4 players that I like a lot, but if I had to pick a team to be a fan of, I'd pick LA or Team Jupiter, but I feel like Team Jupiter will be a fan favorite simply because of Tiger.

      Day 30: 1/9/2025 Great day to go to the range on lunch. I had spent time off on all morning working on my Priority piece. I have a spare 7 iron right outside my office with a mirror for me to practice when I go in or out of my office. The range was nice, at one point I was the only customer there. Anyway, mixed results again, but I think its starting to come together. I'll have to grab more film first chance I get and send it to Yoda.
