Compared to what @woodzie264? 6 months - It looks pretty damn good to me. Nice work.  That is not an easy fix...actually nothing about changing your swing is easy. Well done.

It's not that. It's very disjointed. Left hand a little strong, right hand weak.

Before I start practicing a less-than-desirable grip, is this better? I want to have the right feel before I engrain the wrong thing.

Think about where the Vs are pointing. Left hand only, see where it points in a mirror. Then right hand should over lay the thumb so it’s V points in the same place. The right hand here looks weak because it’s pointing straight up. The other check for the left is how many knuckles you see at set up.

Yes. But the video you posted has a strong left hand and weak right hand. Just rotate the right a bit to be stronger and make sure it sits on the left thumb along the life line.

A bit, but I think your right hand should sit higher on your left and even be a little stronger to match the left. It is like they are separated too much.

Bringing hands closer with more overlap definitely feels different.

It should feel different, more compact like both hands are one. FWIW, when Erik posted that video about the grip in October, I rechecked mine and I was off too. I saw movement when I gripped tighter (face closing). So I check it every time I grip now. It will feel odd for a while, but keep checking it. Try getting them more overlapped too. The Vs look better.

apparently not long enough. 

agreed - need to wait til kids/wife's schedule slow down a little.  I've thought about it several times. I will definitely respond better to in-person instruction

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere.
