Peter Millar shirts vs FJ (or other brands)

Gents, I have an issue.... my member/guest gift this year is from Peter Millar but I have never tried on a shirt from the brand. I own just about every other brand under the sun but do not want to order an XL and be swimming in it. I am 6'6" 215 and wear a large in FJ, an xl in a FJ athletic fit as well as just about ever other brand. Any insight as to how they fit would be great as I do not have time to go try one on.

For me, I wear L in FJ shirts, but XL in everything else.  I have one or two Peter Millar shirts, and they're sized in line with the majority, so I'd choose XL.

I own several PM shirts and they size slightly larger to other brands.
IMO they are a tall fit, which helps keep the shirt tucked in.

I like Millar's shirts better than other brands, they are extremely comfortable.

I think this is your answer upndown! You are 6'6" after all. One thing I've noticed about all the new moisture wicking fabrics is I can't keep my shirt tucked in to save my life! 2 or 3 swings and my shirt tail is out!
