How do you mark your ball???

I don't mark my golf ball, not real fond of markings on my ball, I guess I am simplistic. I usually see what the other guys are playing, which seems to never be the same ball as mine. If for some reason we had the same ball I would fish around the bag until I found a different numbered ball.

When i was at the putting green over the holiday i saw a guy who colored half of his ball red.

Three small black dots to the left of the number on my titleist. My dad has always done one, my mom has always done two, so I figured I should keep the family tradition up.

I saw a cool one on the titleist website of a guy who marked his with a kangaroo.

Thats Nick O'Hern. Hes an Aussie so it makes good sense.

That kind of effort wouldn't be worth it for me, seeing as I would probably lose it as soon as I drew that nice picture.

I used to put a straight line on the seam but now I just put one purple dot under the Taylormade logo. I found the line too distracting.

A pair of eighth notes on the blank part of the ball (I'm a music teacher) and an alignment stripe.

I mark mine like this: - Titleist -

2 black dots to the left of the number. I used to make a line to help putting alignment, but I don't like how it leaves ink marks on the face of my clubs.

When I started playing I used to write

Now I just use ... _ _ _ ... (morse code for SOS) Since I usually find my ball in distress.

If it's a competition, I'll put a red dot on the ball somewhere near the name or the #.

Otherwise, I don't mark it.
