Hard to answer as each shot is slightly different.  But for my standard driver off the tee I go 80% is comfortable. I use to grunt with the driver and tire  myself out by the later part of the round.  

Also with softer compression balls I feel like I can go 80% and still flatten the ball without spinning the ball sideways
