Hello there and welcome. Ok. Average loft of a PW (pitching wedge) is 45-48 degrees. How you gap your wedges is a matter of trial and feel for your game. Basically separating your wedges in 4 degree increments is common. So, PW at 48 degrees ...then you might have wedges at 52, 56..etc. Keep in mind you can only carry 14 clubs in your bag. Since you are new I wouldn't worry about getting a wedge with any more loft than 58 unless you plan to use it for bunkers only. You could start with your PW...then have a 52....then use a 56 which would probably be fine for bunker use as well. If you're really new to the game I wouldn't worry much about it for now. You want to be focusing on your long play for now. Driver, 5i, 7i. You can film your swing and post it in the 'Members Swings' forum and get tons of top notch help there. Glad you're here! Look around! There's tons of great stuff here.
